We went to Rosso Antico for a anniversary dinner. We didn't have the option to make a reservation as they don't take bookings but we arrived at 630 and there were plenty of spots available. By 7pm though the place was full with people waiting on the seat outiside. Deliveroo and Menulog came in and out constantly. The warehouse-esque style is perfect for the area and the cuisine was well priced for what it was. We had two serves of bruscetta and two pizzas plus a byo wine for $62.50. Some of the pizzas we tried included the Tartufo ($25) with Italian sausage and porcini truffle paste, the Quattro Formaggi ($21) with a mix of cheeses, the Diavola ($23) with salami, olives, and roasted capsicum chili, the Napoli ($18) with anchovy and olives, and a special pizza ($26) with basil pesto, sausage, potato, and Parmesan cheese cream.
While the anchovies were a bit too salty for my taste, the cheese was incredibly rich and flavorful. The truffle was a standout for me, adding a delicious depth of flavor to the pizza. The special pizza with potato was unique and the fresh pesto added a nice touch. Overall, a great dining experience for pizza lovers.
Der Service war fantastisch. Super schnell. Hatte die Oliven. Mozarella / Prosciutto. Gnocchi. Und 3 Pizzas, um zwischen dem Tisch zu teilen. Alles war schön, aber fehlte an Aromen. Grundlagen der Pizza waren ziemlich teigig und matschig. Sie dienten einem der Cocktails in einem Mini-Mason-Glas und das war wirklich nicht cool. Keine schreckliche Erfahrung.
Echte Holzfeuerpizzas !! Nicht viele Toppings, aber so gefällt mir das! Das Menü ist klein, also ist alles außergewöhnlich frisch und Sie können sagen, dass alles handgefertigt ist. Wir nehmen viele Leute hier und sie lieben es immer. Kann nicht buchen, aber der Service ist schnell, so dass der Umsatz ziemlich schnell ist.

Service was incredible and waiters were attentive, amazing authentic Italian food. Cannot recommend enough! Definitely suggest going on a quiet night if you can, otherwise you may have to wait 10-15 minutes on a Friday or Saturday.

The restaurant features authentic wood-fired pizzas and a rustic, minimalist decor. The service was genuine and added a special touch to the dining experience. I would recommend trying the Sangiovese wine. The Arancini balls and calamari were both delicious choices for antipasti.
Based on reviews I decided to try take away from Rosso Antico.
