Welcome to the Wonderful World of the Galette and the Crepe. We'd been out all day...golf in the morning, sightseeing in the afternoon and now it was early evening and we were starving. This little gem looked good (and there was a space to park right outside). We were so glad we picked this one. Selection was amazing for a small place. The service from a lovely smiley happy lady was exceptional...efficient and fast..........and the salads and galettes were soooo tasty. To crown a great meal and to really make us happy, we had a truly delicious desert of apple sorbet/caramel ice cream and lashings of whipped cream........two happy people wended homeward in a haze of happiness............sadly...

Although this was the only restaurant open on a Sunday night in Dol de Bretagne, it certainly wasn't a last resort. Their eponymously titled savoury galette and sweet crepe were outstanding. The Roud Avel galette - haddock in a creamy carrot and leek sauce was excellent. The interior is bright and clean and the service swift and friendly. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Dol de Bretagne - on any day of the week
