One of the employees was even licking her fingers and seemed annoyed when I asked if she had washed her hands before handling my food. I ordered a takeout pizza but received the wrong one and didn’t realize until I got home. When I called the restaurant, the staff was polite and asked me to come back the next day to fix the mistake. Unfortunately, I couldn’t because I was on a baseball trip. They assured me they would handle it. However, when I called the following day, the person who answered was rude and unhelpful, making it hard to speak with a manager. When I asked for their names, I was refused. As a loyal customer for years, this experience has made me rethink coming back. It’s disappointing to encounter such poor customer service from a respected place like Round Table. They definitely need to improve in this area.
Last night, I had a disappointing experience at Round Table Pizza. I’m usually a big fan of their menu and frequently order from them. However, at the Bayfair location in San Leandro, I called ahead to check if my order was ready, only to be told there was no order under my name. When I arrived, there was just one employee quietly filling a small container of ranch dressing, and no one offered to assist me. After waiting for 3-4 minutes without any help, I decided to request a refund. Thank you.
This restaurant is quite pathetic now, and I will never return. They keep running out of ingredients but still attempt to serve the pizza. They were out of sauce and sold me a dry, sauceless pepperoni pizza. They also messed up my order initially. The cook doesn’t speak English. I highly recommend avoiding this place and going to the other restaurant at the shopping plaza on Davis instead.

This restaurant has a clean atmosphere, and they consistently get my order right! The salad bar is always well-stocked and tidy. Some of the staff members are really friendly and efficient, while those who are more reserved still complete their tasks effectively!
This is my favorite pizza place in town; they truly make it like no one else! You have to try their special for $19.99—it's unbeatable!
