The lamb belly was visually appealing, but it was quite fatty and contained very little meat, while the pork cheek was excessively salty. On a positive note, the cattleburger was quite enjoyable, and we appreciated the Pinot Grigio. The service was friendly, although it felt like they were understaffed—something common in many places these days. We shared our feedback when we paid, and the manager was receptive to our comments. We believe the restaurant has great potential, but it has some areas that need improvement. With a few adjustments, it could really shine.
We had a wonderful dining experience here. The welcome we received was both warm and professional. The food was of high quality, and the atmosphere was comfortable. However, there was a barking dog and several local patrons nearby, so sitting upstairs may be a better option if you're looking for a quieter evening.
We all really enjoyed our food. I was especially pleased with mine which was the barbecued celeriac, blue cheese and Jerusalem artichoke puree. Normally as a vegetarian the options tend to be the same wherever you go, I thought this vegetarian dish was really creative and well executed.
This place is fantastic. Real chefs, excellent food , 10/10 service from every member of staff I am delighted by the Sunday lunch we had and puddings. A lovely time and a genuinely beautiful plate of food. Highly recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I was searching online for a place to celebrate a birthday with friends, and I found a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. We definitely plan to return!
First time visit but very impressed. Shortish modern British menu inc a roast on Sunday. Food was of high quality and presented. Service was very friendly and professional. Well worth a try.
