Rang to place an order and asked for onion rings the owner said sorry we haven’t got any. Only for my partner to come back with a tray full. The owner had made onion rings just because I rang up and asked for them. Honestly over the moon that he had gone out of his way and made them instead of sticking to his original answer! Now that’s customer service!! Never had a problem with this chippy and now it’s my favourite!! Thankyou so much. It’s a Pregnancy craving so made my night even better!!!
Top notch. We were at nearby Pennington flash and needed to pick up some fish and chips on the way home. There are lots of chippies in Leigh and we picked this one at random. What a find! Very friendly service. Superb food. They change the oil everyday. The food is so fresh. The prices are very cheap. I wish all chippies were this good. I can’t compare it to other places in the area but I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else after this first visit. Outstanding.
Best in Leigh by a mile. Everything is fresh and tastes wonderful. Excellent value for money. Menu is extremely varied. The staff are friendly and the service is always with a smile. Last but definitely not least, Carl, the owner is such a lovely man. Even though he is always busy he will always greet you with a beaming smile and chat with you, nothing is too much trouble for him and his staff. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
I recently moved to the area and am thrilled to have this as my local fish and chip shop. It has a 5-star hygiene rating, which is uncommon in Leigh, but it truly is the best fish and chip shop in town. The chicken burgers are amazing. The staff are friendly and courteous every time. cannot praise this chippy enogh fish is amazing its prime white cod and the batter is light almost a tempura not like batter in other places where its thick and doughy the chips are just how i like them squidgy without being greasy highly recommended as the go to place for fish and chips and not forgetting excellent mushy peas
This is my regular chippy, I hardly go anywhere else for a chippy tea. I've never had a complaint, the food is excellent, portions are just right, and the owner is lovely. Highly recommend this chip shop, you won't regret it.
If you are in the mood for a delicious chicken burger, I highly recommend this restaurant. It was the best burger I've had in a long time and I will definitely be returning. The staff were lovely and easy to interact with.
