I was driving from the Bay Area to Tahoe and was in the mood for a deli sandwich. I had a decent sandwich—definitely nothing extraordinary. I ordered the supreme size, which cost around $24, but it hardly had any sliced deli meats. Essentially, I ended up paying for the usual toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and peppers. The dutch crunch bread felt undercooked; I was expecting more based on the reviews. On the plus side, the location is next to a lovely park, and they had a good selection of beers in their cooler.
I placed my order online about 40 minutes in advance. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait an extra 20 minutes. I ordered a garlic salad as my side, but when I got back to work and opened my food, I discovered there was no dressing for the salad. I also didn't receive any bread with my platter, and the chicken was the blandest and driest I've ever tasted. I only managed to eat it because I was running late and didn't have time to get anything else.
Holy cow, the food is amazing. The place is a bit small, but there's a park very close you could take your sandwich to. If there's a guy who takes your order who thinks he's going to remember it, beware. By the time my coworkers finished paying and were waiting for our orders, he had forgotten all of them. So if you have any allergies, or don't like x or y on your sandwich, be prepared to eat it anyway.
I've been here many times, and the sandwiches and sides are always amazing, but this is the first time I bought the smoked ribs, and they weren't cooked all the way.. I didn't complain, and I'm sure they would have taken care of me. But you need to be careful with pork

Awesome sandwiches, a more relaxed atmosphere and it has a lot of character. My girl gets a ham and bacon on sourdough and I usually get the meatball sub. They have daily deals and the brisket is bomb.
Cute little deli nestled in a neighborhood of down town Sacramento. I will definitely be going there again. Vegetarian options: I ordered a veggie sandwich. It was very good. You can also order vegan.
This place is really delicious food is good pet friendly and gave our dog some chicken Kid-friendliness: Really nice to us and was a big help
