Lovely inside but that's about it. Father in laws Beyond burnt Lasagne, rest of our food was okay'. Slow service considering it was quiet. I can understand village pubs where everybody knows everybody' as I used to live in one, but when the barmaid would...rather talk to locals than deal with customers then you have a problem.
celebrate high-time day, eat delicious, beautifully presented with excellent service. had a friend to the royal oak in the following week, which was so enthusiastic with everything she organized a big party to come together. the ambiente was very relaxed and the personal helpful.
a funny and cozy old English pub. it is casual and friendly and welcoming. we had booked the Skittles room that was super fun and an evening meal with finger food was a wonderful tasty. the personal was wonderful! the night has enjoyed well!
the food was good and the beak ally was in good condition and well maintained, also the staff, where very helpful and the pub was clean and had a private parking place.
