we went with our son for an end of the primary school, the whole place was amazing, friendly welcome we arrived 20 minutes early for our booked table, but the staff has nothing to do and we sit in a beautiful clean well designed area. social distancing was not at one point, we felt nervous in these risky times. good choice on the menu and eating was delicious, hot and fresh. the kitchen team had provided an amazing selection of food. even our very fussiger son enjoyed every part of his meal from the young guest menu. we have tried some new articles that we have never had and we have been pleasantly surprised. the personal was there, but not float over them all the time so that they can reall...
The pub itself if fine however the parking is not free and although there must be a sign in the car park we didn’t see it and you don’t expect to pay for parking in a roadside pub. None of the pub staff mentioned it and there is nothing in the pub to show you or encourage you to pay so we ended up with a £60 fine for a lunch that wasn’t worth the extra money! Steph Rene were great hosts for our last minute booking to the Royal Oak, Farnham Common. We all enjoyed our food, and they were so accomodating, especially to our 2 young grandsons, one of whom had a birthday. They sang happy birthday, and added a candle to his dessert. He was thrilled. Thank you for making it a lovely occasion

a nice looking pub with friendly staff. first, £17 seemed a bit expensive for a mixed grill, but to be honest, eating was so good quality I thought it was worth it. the beer was nice and cold, served with a smile and the food was excellent.
