We just tried this restaurant for the first time and it was a wonderful surprise. Service was friendly and quick. We ordered a green curry, which was delicious. The Tamarind beef dish was so tender and tangy with the tamarind sauce and the chicken and cashew dish was out of this world. So many vegetables and fresh pineapple. We just loved all the flavours and are looking forward to going back with a bigger group so we can taste more dishes and have a larger variety on our table. Btw, it was also very reasonable. Great family restaurant.
I would like to advise of the new hand written sign behind the bar advising patrons of a 15% surcharge to parties of 6 or more!! Take your large parties elsewhere Why would anyone be subject to such a blatant money grab I will definitely not be returning There is a great place that doesn’t charge extra for bringing friends at Dufferin and Steeles. Ill be going there from now on
The food was delicious. We ordered Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai, as well as Beef Chinese Broccoli. The protein was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. My partner had visited a few weeks prior and mentioned that the restaurant also serves excellent Hot and Sour Soup, along with tempting lunch specials during the week.
During the pandemic, their hours for take out only are 5 PM to 9 PM Tuesday thru Sunday. The food is wonderful, if a little pricey. Dinner for three was around $50, without any drinks. For lunch, we were given sets that were listed on a single-sided menu, offering choices of green, red, and yellow curry with spring rolls and salad as possible sides. Upon request, we were provided with a full menu that had a wide variety of appetizers, traditional Thai dishes, and desserts.
Went to Royal Orchard Thai with a group of friends, and the food was very good! The service was good, the only thing was the heating was not working that well and it was very cold that night but did get it working again. Met new people and old friends an enjoyable evening!
I finally found a place that serves Thai Ice Tea! I can not tell you how many so called Thai places in the GTA, when I ask for Thai Ice Tea, they give me a blank stare. It was tall cold oranage and delicious.
