in the direction of the park all restaurant places for brunch were lubricated. the open sign for royal star buffet and we decided to try it. they only opened @11 clock. super clean. tices have been involved in dealing with the pandemic problems. everyone who wears masks as necessary, a good protocol to deal with the buffet (what we ask how). large selection of diners, freshly cooked or rolled. sushi, seafood, meat, salad, Asian dishes. about the normal buffet standards by far. a few Bland dishes, but there were sauces and seasoned galore to pay attention. two big thumbs up, that makes the will stop again' list.
I will definitely come back here from time to time. When it was called Royal Fork, I had an allergic reaction to the salad bar (due to unwashed produce), so I was hesitant to return even after the name change. However, my daughter convinced me to give it another try. The food was delicious, especially the salad bar (my favorite), and the takeout container I got for my picky eater son was a hit. It may not be the best restaurant overall, but the buffet option allows for a good variety of choices that everyone can enjoy.
Last time I will order. First time the Stuffed Mushrooms were delicious but the Orange Chicken was bland and the Mongolian beef very greasy. Gave them another chance tonight since the mushrooms were so good. They were, again, but the Kung Pao Chicken was TERRIBLE! The chicken was so overcooked and it was mostly flavorless. Even worse the peanuts were MUSH and devoid of ANY flavor! Kungo Pao Chicken should have FRESH peanuts in it. What a waste of money!!!
The Royal Star restaurant offers delicious food with the unique feature of allowing customers to choose their own meal and have seconds by simply requesting a clean plate. I have visited this buffet many times, but on my last two visits, I noticed that the deep-fried food was very greasy, possibly from using old oil. The stir fry, salad bar, and desserts are still good, but everything else was terrible. I will not be going back, especially considering the high prices which seem to change weekly.
The food was excellent. The Orange Chicken was tender and flavorful. The orange sauce was delicious and the rice was tasty. I will definitely order from this restaurant again. The portions were also very generous.
We did not receive one of the items we ordered. Despite consistently spending over $100 each time, we were never refunded for the missing items. As a result, we will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
