Royal Tandoor is a reasonably good choice for Indian curries, but not the best, simply because they add too much salt, even when I ask for less. Good Indian curries are supposed to be flavorful, not overly salty. I've eaten in countless Indianrestaurants, in many cities; also, I cook curries at home; never ever have I been challenged with such salty dishes. Still, inmy humble opinion, in Santa Clarita, Royal Tandoor is better than the alternatives, .
Didn't want to judge off of one experience so gave them a couple of more visits...unfortunately every experience was terrible and each time just got worse. It took 2.5 hrs to receive food with only one other party present. Server wasn't visible and hardto get their attention. Placed take out order over the phone says ready in 30 minutes, hours later they didn't start making it/forgot about the order. Lacked decent service and hospitality.
Went to Royal Tandoor a second time. The first time I went earlier in 2016, the food set the bar for all Indian food I've had prior. The food is that good. We went again and the chicken tikki masala, chicken vindaloo, chicken biryani, and naan were spot on and perfect. The waiter suggested food based on our drink choices that complemented each other well.
It was very nice to go out be waited on. Service was good for the one person do all the work outside. Food was hot and tasty to my liking. Chicken, Lamb, Shrimp vegetables ????. 7/14/22 Food was tasty but asked and wanted more hot spicy like Iasked. Good but no 5 star. 4.3 today. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We just love the food here. It's the only place for Indian food in this valley for us. I've had the pleasure of eating Indian food around the world and this restaurant reminds of my favorites!!!!
Great food. Great buffet. Great variety. If you need gluten free stick to the rice, chicken, stews, etc. Vegetarian? Not a problem. They're vegetarian dishes are fantastic.
Clean place, great food, amazing customer service! Definitely recommend to all family and friends! PS their #gulabjamun is of the chain!!!
