Over the course of our 14-day stay, I visited Roy's twice. The subs, with their seemingly endless variety, are incredibly delicious, and the small shop is decorated from floor to ceiling with cool retro rock 'n' roll memorabilia. East Boston may not be a popular tourist area, but it's definitely worth a visit to Roy's, especially since it's just a short drive from the airport. My wife and I picked up some of Roy's more flavorful subs on our way to Logan Airport for our flight back to Los Angeles, amusing everyone around us as we enjoyed them in the airport kiosk area. HaHaHa! I absolutely love Roy's Cold Cuts! While I was waiting for my sandwich to be made, I spotted a photo of Johnny Depp...
Anytime I drop someone off/pick up from the airport I make Roys a pit stop. The sandwhiches are all delicious, really remarkable in fact.The super Italian is very good and the tuna italian is a unique spin on an Italian. The olive oil tuna used on it is delicious.The stuffed hot peppers are out of this world. Make sure to call early if you are planning to get some as they do sell out.

What a place!!!! Cannot believe the number of menu choices!!!! And the decor is awesome throwback 60's.Don't let the website throw you...you can order and pickup within 15 minutes.
Food quality good, but it's very long to get your food !! call in advance, at least a half hour and a half for one sandwich they're very slow
