Walked in for an early dinner and it's nice and slow, but doesn't smell like food cooking. We were greeted quickly and I asked about the specials- new fish plate and new tortilla soup. No mention about their Taco Tuesday offer we later heard another customer being told about. I try the soup which is sufficient. It taste ok but came out luke warm. The employee who rang us up didn't take off the promotion and over charged us. I will say they refund process went easy. Over all the whole experience and food was just average.
Terribly run restuarant. I've been a long time patron of this location. Most recent visit will be my last. Disorganized, extremely poor service and food quality. Floor was covered with grease and very slippery. The flatware was dirty. Food handling practices were abhorrent. The manager Nick seemed to have no idea how to run a restuarant and definitely had no people skills or concerns about the hazards present.
I love Rubio's! Their classic shrimp burrito, Coastal Trio, and fish tacos are all amazing. The staff is always friendly, the food is mouthwatering, and the restaurant is clean with a fast-moving line. The service is quick and the drinks are well-mixed. I can't ask for anything more. Now I'm hungry again just thinking about it!
Sorry to report that they were understaffed today. Tables were sticky, windows dirty, bathroom a mess. Our order was delivered to another table, or so we were told when we went to check. Took well over 25 minutes to get served. The tacos were good, at least! For fast food, not so much...

I love this place, they always make my day. whether they refill my drink for me or allow me to taste the dessert. it's always a big day when I come here to eat. the manager even looks like they're enjoying a job there, even if it's busy. great people. highly recommended.
The establishment is averagely clean, with an average staff. How oh how do they call them gourmet tacos? It's one of those I just paid so much for a taco, I'm gonna convince myself I love it I'll stick to actual Mexican establishments. Even Chipotle is way better.
I really enjoy this restaurant. Some places can be disappointing, but the food here is fantastic. The fish tacos are amazing, and the blackened salmon tacos are perfect. The salsa bar is impressive, especially the chipotle salsa. Definitely worth a visit!
