Maxwell Street, not like the old days when the market stretch for a few blocks and you had to squeeze your way though. Now the neighborhood has changed dramatically with brick and mortar stores near by including fancy grocery stores and high end fitness centers. The Maxwell Street now has few vendors looking to strike a bargain and a good number of amazing street food vendors that will surely satisfy anyones belly.
This place has more food vendors it seems these days, and most are Mexican food. It is a wonderful place to have a meal on a closed down street outside. Tamales Oaxaqueños are bigger than average tamales and in a banana wrap. It was such a delicious meal. Check this place out for fantastic food.
The vendors here are excellent, and I definitely recommend visiting. However, the management could use some improvement. If you're considering a trip, you might want to drive out to Wolff's Flea Market at the Allstate Arena instead, where there's free parking.

Must try the Oaxaca tamales at Mi Tia tamales. A fresh made tortilla is the best. I will never eat tortilla out of a package again.
