Whilst the food was excellent, the service was atrocious and totally ruined what should have a lovely night out on a very special occasion. Booked for and seated...promptly. Orders for aperitifs taken and drinks brought promptly. Order for wine taken, bottle brought and opened. Then it all went downhill. Waited for over minutes for our meal order to be taken and that only happened because I signalled to the girl behind the bar that I was getting unhappy. This restaurant is a cozy and comfortable family-owned establishment that offers a delightful culinary experience. With a range of Italian options on the menu, you can truly feel the Italian ambiance throughout the evening. The atmosphere, music, decor, and of course the food are all excellent. The service is attentive and caring, making you feel like you are dining in a home rather than a restaurant. I absolutely loved it!
Great specials and favourites on the main menu. Angelo and his team are on hand, as ever, to ensure you have the best evening. Wine list extensive and there is often something new on offer. Love this place and often see friends and acquaintances here...so always lots of chatter. It's the restaurant of choice whenever my daughter and her partner come to stay. Lunch Thursday to Saturday is great value too.
A cosy comfortable family owned and run place that will fill you with great culinary sensation and heartwarming experience. Among several Italian options this one you would feel somehow brings true Italian feel to the evening. The setting, music, wine and of course the food is exquisite.Service you will get is with a lot of care. It really does not feel like a restaurant but more like a home. Loved it!

I still rate this as one of the top restaurants I have visited. Angelo and his team really look after you. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, the service is great, what more can I say? The restaurant is calm and intimate, with...a great ambience. A fine selection of food and wine. All food is freshly cooked and presented well. I cannot praise Ruchetta more highly.
Hands down the best restaurant in Wokingham, amazing food with a great selection of wine. Never had a bad meal and I would highly recommend if you’ve never been before as you’ll defiantly be going back after the first visit!
Always an absolute delight. Angelo and the team never fail with their friendly service and the food is outstanding. One of the best restaurants around. Great setting.
The food that both of us ordered was tasty, well cooked and carefully presented. As extra bonuses, the lunch menu is also great value and the service is friendly.
