Drove along the Gowen Road and saw the darkness from this tavern that reminded my last dining experience here.It was a Fork’s promo of half price deal. Honestly, it was not the first time that I took such advantage because the CP is very high.I always appreciate its system of free salad bar for any purchase of meal. Having said that it was slightly let down this time. Driving through Runcorn at lunchtime and I recall Ronnie’s great Steak meal at the Runcorn Tavern. We are welcomed and quickly seated in a large dining room. The Lunch Menu has the Roast of the Day and 200g Rump Steak at $12.50. What a bargain!<br/ <br/ Phuong Tran has the Rump Steak. I have both the Roast Meal and the Rump Steak. Our meals are served within 15 minutes and we enjoy both our Steaks and the Roast of the Day. <br/ <br/ Service is friendly and helpful. And the Menu provides some great value for money meals. Well done guys!
FREE SALAD BAR BUFFET WITH MAINS! the main meals are very high quality, but the best thing is the service : the staff i dealt with were all very friendly. especially the male server! shout out to JUSTIN for awesome service!! the salad bar isnt as good as it was before, but to be honest its just great they opened it back up. im sure the quality of the salad bar will go up as time goes by! all my friends and family very much enjoyed our dinner here. and they even have a vegetarian meatballs pasta which tastes great! so for that i give 5
Being a local, I do frequent this place, be it for the restaurant (with all you can eat salad and vegs buffet) or for the relaxing atmosphere bar, or the open till late pokies !!Depends on the person, mostly the guys here are friendly~ The place is nice and clean, ample space of car park, free coffee/tea dispenser in the pokies, free cookies and pop corns too. I'd say lets go!!One thing that is a bit of let down, hot food/kitchen finished early.

I remember the days here I would play Pub Poker. <br/ <br/ I think they no longer hold any events which is a shame. They’ve recently gone through a redesign with new branding and Logos yet to check them out in 2019.<br/ <br/ Based on past experience the lunch salad buffet was ok. Lots of pokies if you’re into that sort of thing.<br/ <br/ But bring back the poker!!!!
Been several years since I’ve been here. I love what they’ve done to the place. The restaurant looks really grown up whilst still catering to all ages. Came here to eat the sides as opposed to a main meal and was impressed as it was simple fare done well. Great service, vibe and ambience. Will return.
All the staff are FANTASTIC very welcoming. Really impressed not what i expected and was pleasantly surprised. Will defs be back Baked brie cheesecake and Churros 7 dollars and DELICIOUS shut up and have my money!
We always love the Runcorn Tavern. The steak we had recently was beautifully charcoal grilled and of course the complimentary salad bar is always a hit. The staff are always very friendly. We’ll be back!

Decent food and prices. Staff are good. Place well appointed. Good place for family in the main restaurant area with enough space and kids game room. Recommended.
