During a visit to Ennis to look at a car, my family and I were in search of a local dining experience. After receiving unanimous recommendations for the Ruston Cattle Company from the dealership staff, we decided to give it a try. My husband and I finally tried out Ruston's after almost two years and it was wonderful! I can't believe we waited so long to try it! Our server Kaydan was very friendly and attentive and the food was so delicious! We had the smoked queso for appetizer,I had the grilled pork chop (it is huge! , mashed potatoes and green beans and my husband had the smothered beef patty withbeans and mashed potatoes. He only wishes he had ordered the double patty instead of single. They had live entertainmrnt (localartist Jimmy Nash was playing and a great time was had by all ! We enjoyed everything and will definitely be back!
Ooommmmgggg. Best steak I 've ever had. We literally just left about 30 minutes ago.. we 're already planning on coming back soon.. Staff is extremely polite and attentive. Our drinks never reached almost empty... we had 1 person that wanted hersteak well done... if you 're a well done steak kinda person... ask them to cook it Aunt Amanda well done level. .. Service was excellent. It smells, feels and looks like a place with a great steak and it in fact does serve a great steak. It ain't cheap but it was very good. We had the baked chicken with the mashed potatoes and carrots and also the sirloin and Smoked Mac. Not a single bad bite. And I will be dreaming about that Mac and cheese for days! Quality of beef was excellent, my only complaint was there was excess char on a medium rare steak. The sides were excellent along with the salads. Steaks and baked potato were cold. I could not eat them. Put them in a to go box to take home. On top of all that it was for my birthday. Only typing this cause I was asked or I wouldn't have commented. The burnt ends were great though.
AMAZING! Justin Rustin is the MAN! AWESOME good, great atmosphere, live bands and THE BEST FOOD YOU WILL EVER EAT! Be sure to get the beef rib as an appetizer! It's the BEST meat you will EVER put in your mouth!-Marc with a C! THATS ME!
