The high rating is because the food is incredible. If it was based on the food alone, it would be 5 stars. However, being able to only sit outside is such a bummer. I absolutely love sitting outside during the summer and fall, even on crisp cold days but sometimes I end up skipping market strictly because I'm not dressed to sit outside. It is covered and clean, but it's a small area and space is often lacking when it's busy. I've only ever used the window service and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I can’t really comment on the food, but running out of the only vegetarian dish on your menu by noon on a Sunday is quite embarrassing. It left me, a vegetarian who kindly joined some friends who love fish, without any options. The complete lack of care or suggestions for how to accommodate me was just rude. I won’t be making that mistake again, and I’ll definitely advise my group against choosing The Market in the future.

The hot lobster rolls are consistently delicious! The seasonal Hot Apple Cider was priced at $4.00, which felt a bit expensive, and it wasn't particularly sweet. I deducted a star because they only have outdoor seating, and not all of it is covered or heated – only a few areas have heating. On weekends, it's really crowded, making it difficult to find a seat. Just a heads up, they now close at 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and at 7 PM on Sundays, although both Google and their website still list the closing time as 9 PM. The prices have become too high for what you receive. The portion of fish is now 50% less than when the restaurant first opened. Overall, the cost is not justified based on the quality and quantity of the food. I ordered takeout, but I still feel it’s overpriced.
