Ruth's has the best sizzling steak, in my opinion. Our food was generally good this time, but something must have been a little off as out of diners had stomach issues afterwards. I was the lucky one that didn't, but it was odd that my friends all did. The steaks were cooked well, dripping in butter (as requested), and served fairly quickly. The only miss was the dessert. The birthday girl got hers at least min earlier than everyone else for some reason and when the rest of ours did come, it was disappointing. The bread pudding was a little bit too sweet and mushy. My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary from Florida. Got seated and Alex was our waiter. He took our food down and NEVER saw him again. He didn’t bring out the food. Didn’t refill our drinks. Didn’t come ask if we needed anything. I had to literally flag him down with waving arms in the air to get him to change one of the sides to something else and this time into a TOGO box. We were so over the whole evening. We didn’t eat because the sides were wrong and we were so turned off. I’d never been to this Ruth’s Chris.... I’ll give them a break at it was a busy Friday night ..... the service was slow initially but good overall, the food was delicious, but the ambiance was disappointing.....the tables were close, overall space was smaller than expected, bar area also small. We felt like we were very cramped. I’d pick a different location next time. (I’m comparing to the Maui location which is gorgeous.
We have enjoyed Ruth's Chris in Washington DC for years, and on a lark decided to try the one in Beverly Hills while we were visiting relatives. It was just as wonderful as on the East Coat. Food was amazing, ambiance wonderful and quiet enough to have lovely conversation. Overall a wonderful evening was had by all
