Food was okay. Nothing special. I would go somewhere else for the price. I couldn’t eat the lobster bisque because there was no flavor to it. Only tiny pieces of lobster in it, but I didn’t sent it back. I got the lobster tail and the oz filet. The filet was the same size as my daughters filet that she ordered but the steaks were cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes were very subpar… they came out room temperature at best. For desert I attempted the crème brûlée. It was absolutely terrible. They sugar wasn’t melted and it was served cold. It had to be returned and I got something else. I’ve never returned a dish before last night. Again. The steak was decent but over the food was not worth the...
Great evening at Ruth's Chris Steak House. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a cocktail prepared in front of us before being sat at our table. We were greeted right away after we sat down and our meal was excellent due to the relaxed pace. We ordered appetizers and entrees and they were all cooked to our liking with the exception of the sauteed spinach that was very garlicky. Our steaks and au gratin potatoes were delicious. We didn't save room for dessert as we devoured the warmed bread and appetizers prior to dinner. We will most certainly be back.
I know this is going to sound picky but I was a little let down on the quality of the steaks. We ordered the fillet, the most popular item on the menu, and to be quite honest it did not wow us. I hate to say it but getting a filet mignon from outback was actually better. We’ve been to Ruth’s Chris in New York City and we found the taste of the steaks to be much better. I don’t know if it was an off day or not but our experience was not as good as we had hoped.
We were celebrating my hubby birthday. There were birthday confetti on the table such a nice touch. When we got seated I didn't like the table it was to close to the entrance and very close to the other table the host realized I was not comfortable and he offered us another table. I appreciated that so much outstanding customer service that he noticed and I didn't even have to ask. The food was amazing.
Comparing to short hills Ruth Chris. This location can take a few tips. The Ceasar salad is drench in dressing. The lobster Mac and cheese was running like soup. But my server frank was AWESOME. Good servers keep you coming back although the kitchen should be smacked twice. I will go back to give them another chance. Frank did let us know they had a busy night. We understand.
Anniversary dinner. We were seated right away. The restaurant has a complimentary anniversary dessert. The food was great and drinks were good. The service was nice. Overall was a great experience.
