We are regular diners at the Rye House, and always love it when we get the chance to return. We love the shrimp and grits, the short ribs, branzino. These are our go to dishes, but everything we 've ever ordered has been delicious. And don 't pass up their amazing cocktail list. Our fave is the wakeup call. Kudos to Ryan, the restaurant manager, who welcomes and checks in on us every time, and we can see he does that with all guests--returning or new. But always with just the right amount of attention--not too much, and not too little.
Busy at restaurant. Table of 5, only 2 menus given. Happy hour sign on table. Long time before we were waited on. Food didn’t take that long to arrive. Food was good. Bill came and we questioned bill as happy hour prices not honored. Manager said it was only at the bar. Unsure of why they had the signs on the tables then. Reluctantly gave us the $10 off of a close to $200 bill.
that was our first visit to the rye house. some of us from nj and ct met and found rye house online. we talked more than 3 hours! eating was fresh and good. we had no desserts, but the tea selection was great. it was made fresh with loose tea and fresh. it is a rustic and attractive atmosphere. I would definitely go back.
we came to dinner at 5:30. we immediately have a seat and drink and ordered shortly after dinner. the dinner lasted at least 30 minutes to come and came out of the bait. the sweet potato must sit warmer all day. they were soggy and cold. the veggie burger lukewarm.

I love the Rye House for dinner before shows at the Capital Theater. It is TOOOOOOOOO noisy is my only complaint. The food is always solid, the drinks are reasonable and the atmosphere is fun. Thanks
Awesome place to go after movies or any time we need a late night place. Drinks are stellar, food is delicious and it has a great vibe. This is our absolute go-to when we go out in port Chester
Service was not very good. Server brought the wrong drink 2x to the same person and someone else asked for dressing on the side of their dinner salad and that too was ignored.
beautiful restaurant with great appetizers! our waiters were attentive and friendly. had a great time.
