Asian restaurants (Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese) pre-prepare their meat for use in stir-frys and curries etc. This process involves soaking the meat in water after slicing the meat into bite size pieces. This process removes all traces of blood but also has the unfortunate side effect of removing all the taste too. Not all restaurants do this. But it is easy to recognise the ones that do. They are the ones that serve vile tasteless meat in their dishes that is similar to eating a piece of week old chewing gum instead of pork, beef, chicken. A birthday celebration lunch with family and friends was a fun experience. We all opted for the tapas so we could share everything. Eight dishes between the four of us was sufficient with very little left at the end of our meal. We had two portions of pork belly, prawn pad Thai, chicken satay, green chicken curry, salt and pepper squid, coconut rice and steamed dumplings (the only one we wouldn’t have again).The first seven dishes of food were delicious, nicely presented too, the service as always was friendly and efficient and we had a really jolly time. Thoroughly recommended.
Sabai is fantastic, we are huge fans of the restaurant for various occasions. Staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. I've personally been with huge family gatherings which they have accommodated with pleasure. Equally, I have been with friends and my husband for a romantic meal and it is always a safe bet! I is a such a nice vibe, you can sit on the floor, chairs and by the fountqin which is so calming. We once went went before a local musical show and again, no problem booking and amazing food! 5 stars all round! Thank you to all the staff at sabai!
We were last here a year ago and it is still great. The service is lovely gentle and un rushed, the waiter is happy to help and the right amount of friendly. The food is fabulous, unpretentious and full of real flavour. I could recommend a favour dish but they are all good: I do however love the beef masaman. I just wish my stomach was bigger so I could eat more.

We had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant, with the Weeping Tiger and Tamarind Duck standing out as the highlights. We will definitely be returning for those two dishes! The service was excellent, and we want to thank the staff for a wonderful dining experience.
We were here for lunch, we had a platter for starter which was absolutely delicious, drunken noodles and chili basil chicken with sticky rice. Everything was fantastic and the staff were attentive and friendly too.
The Thai cuisine at this restaurant is exceptional. The dishes taste authentic and the atmosphere is cozy. The service is excellent as well. I highly recommend trying their Thai food for either lunch or dinner.
I really enjoyed the Red Thai curry unfortunately we had a very long wait and they forgot our crackers. Was even on the bill . All sorted in end but that could put us off .
