I ordered lunch from Sabatinos, and I continue to be impressed not only by their food but also by the delivery driver today. I had a bit of a struggle keeping my dog inside when he arrived with my order, and I accidentally dropped part of it. He was incredibly patient, helped me pick everything up, and even waited until I got my dog inside before handing me the rest of my order. Most people would have just left me to handle it by myself, so I truly appreciated his kindness. While it may seem like a small gesture to some, we could really use more compassionate people in the world, and this driver truly went above and beyond! I love the food and the staff here!
The food was delicious, but the unexpected "Support Local Fee" made me feel uneasy. It would be more straightforward to raise the menu prices instead of adding extra fees. Surprise charges, whether on a phone bill, cable bill, or now food, can be quite frustrating, especially after taking the time to drive and pick up my order. It’s disappointing since I genuinely love the pizza, but that fee for supporting local businesses makes me rethink choosing them over a chain restaurant instead.
Our last order from them was about a month ago, and we enjoyed the sauce. However, tonight they added so much pepper that I couldn't finish my meal. I managed to get through a quarter of the eggplant rollatini, and that was only because of the cheese. I'm not sure who's making the sauce now, but PLEASE revert to the way it used to be! The steak here is truly amazing. I ordered a cheesesteak with American cheese, onions, and mayo, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. If you're considering visiting, don't hesitate—it's worth it!
