I used to love dining at this venue for its delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and scenic location. The service was always impeccable and the food was consistently good. However, after visiting their new website on Campbell Parade, I was extremely disappointed. It seems like they have prioritized seating as many people as possible, resulting in small portions of not-so-hot food. The seating arrangement was cramped, with poor service and cleanliness standards. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and will instead be dining at Jump Street in Bondi Junction. This place serves the most delicious falafels that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! It is a must-try when you visit. As someone originally from Dubai, eating at Sabbaba reminded me of the flavors of the Middle East, it was extremely authentic. The portions are generous, and I had to take a break because I was so full. My friend ordered the falafel bowl and I got the chicken shawarma bowl with a side of falafels and halloumi chips. The halloumi chips were good but nothing special. The service was a bit slow, probably because it was a Saturday night, but it was worth it for the delicious falafels.
We were walking around Bondi to decide what to eat. Trying to be remotely healthy, we rested at Sabbaba. It seems like a takeaway style place where you order at the counter. Opening into the hall street, it is bright and breezy. We ordered a sabbaba plate which came with pita bread, your choice of protein (we chose lamb kofta), salad, and dips (tahini and hommus. There was meant to be baba ghanoush. I think they forgot that). We also got it as a meal with a drink and a side of falafels.

Mit großen herzlichen Portionen können Sie nicht schief gehen. Solide, gute schmeckende Schüsseln. Sie müssen den Falafel auswählen, ist das, wofür diese Jungs berühmt sind? Coz, sie waren lecker. Ich bin nicht groß für Falafels, aber diese waren einprägsam und definitiv lecker. Etwas knusprig an der Außenseite. Die Schüssel kam mit einer Vielzahl von Salaten und Sie werden mehr als zufrieden sein. Auch super waren die Desserts in ihrem Display, viele Baklava-Sorten, und sie waren alle vegan, ich bin mir ziemlich sicher.

Falafel-Platte war nett, Dips waren wirklich gut. Gut als Anteilsplatte. Ein toller Eckfleck, um sich draußen zu sitzen und die Welt zu sehen. Chips waren gut und servicefreundlich. Ich gehe wieder.
Hervorragende Option für ein gesundes Mittagessen. Falafel und Salat hatten meine Geschmacksknospen tanzen und wollten mehr. Wird zurück zu diesem kleinen Eaterzeug zurückkehren.
