This is a small, intimate, local, no frills establishment with very authentic and affordable Honduran food. You order your food at the counter and pick it up at the counter. The empanadas are very good and the sweet corn tamales with cream are absolutely delicious! Some of the food is pre-made while others can be adapted to a vegetarian palette (baleadas with beans and cheese, cheese empanadas, corn tamales, etc. Communication can be a bit rough sometimes but it always works out in the end!
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and affordable. I highly recommend trying the fried fish and traditional sides, which are always great. Be sure to ask for the spicy onions – they add a flavorful kick to the meal. Don't miss out on the empanadas either, as they are freshly made and delicious. Whether you're in a rush or just relaxing, these dishes are worth ordering.
