I was shocked by the price of a sandwich at Sachem Delicatessen And—nearly $13 for a roast beef and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato on a roll. I thought maybe prices are higher everywhere now, but when I opened the sandwich, it was only half filled! There was barely any beef on it. Where’s the roast beef at Sachem Deli? The turkey sandwich I ordered wasn’t fresh either—you can tell when turkey is old, and it tasted terrible. Other local spots offer much fresher food and better value. I'm not sure why the name hasn't been updated on Google, but this is no longer Sachem Delicatessen. I used to love that place—the food was always fresh and the staff were friendly. Now it's called Deli and Caterers, with new owners who provide terrible service and act very unprofessionally. I will never set foot in this place again.
The girl behind the counter and her family are pro Palestine and the movement against Israel … Once again someone not smart enough to keep mouth shut as to not hurt their business … so you side with them this is your place … place of stupidity … if your not then maybe not give them your business …
Disgustingly dirty place.. I don’t write reviews but I orderd a hero ate alil of it bc I was starving and threw the rest out I can’t get the sight of the bathroom out of my head and everything is just unpleasant to look at and unkept. Yuck… in my head I’m just thinking hope I don’t get sick now

Love this place ever since new management took over! Food's great, sandwiches are never lacking, and the girl at the front counter always makes me feel like family when I walk in.
Great food always have the best experience . I order a chicken cutlet mozzarella and roasted red peppers on a hero the chicken cutlet is always so fresh and amazing.
Ordered two pastrami sandwiches (Rueben and The Lake Grove) and the pastrami was so fresh. Perfect portions! And, super friendly staff. I will be going back.
Food was hot and fresh, staff was very polite and professional. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes a great egg sandwich!
