I'm not going back. Came in for a business dinner last night, which I brought a client and a business partner. Our server didn't write down our order and sure enough she screwed up royally. I asked for a medium rare steak and she had to re ask how i wanted it cooked. Came cool and rare AF. Whatever, I still ate it and dismissed it. My business partner ordered the salmon dinner with a Caesar salad, and asparagus and mashed potatoes. The lady server didn't write his order down and then brings me and my client our starter salads and doesn't bring my business partner his Caesar salad. This is one of the worst servers I have ever had and took way too long. After being seated, it took 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. He was very cold and not personable at all. My wife ordered one of their speciality martinis and he didn't seem to even know what she was ordering. Pretty bad considering that we were seated in the bar area. All in all, m it took us an hour to get our entree. Considering I ordered a salad and my wife ordered an app, this was excessively terrible. My company had a dinner there last night, and we are not happy. The service was terrible and the food was cold. They knew ahead of time what we had ordered. The salads should have been served at 7:00 but were not served until 7:45. We had to wait a long time for our drinks, and some people never got water glasses. When the entrees were finally served around 8:30, the results were mixed. The salmon was good, vegetables were good but cold, sirloin steak was tough and cold. We were ready to pay and get out of there but the waitress still hadn't served the desserts. The beer and wine are way over-priced, plus they went ahead and added a 20% gratuity to them. So don 't be totally off put by the 3 stars...keep in mind this is central Arkansas so it 's not exactly a culinary epicenter. All that aside this chain restaurant is decent for a quick bite, burger, fries or some apps. Our server was pleasant, however her getting seated with a large party took away from her other 3 tables and drinks often went empty. Food came out prompt enough and was tasty. Burger I had was seasoned well, and I actually appreciated the shoestring fries. Other things were the coconut shrimp (frozen but not bad mango chutney was good). Salads were actually quite nice and fresh. Again, not bad and not great...for a quick bite in a rush it 'll do.
Before we entered the restaurant, we were uncertain whether it was open due to the empty parking lot, which made us hesitant. However, the ambiance inside was beautiful, with a warm and romantic feel. I ordered the Cheyenne Chicken, and it was truly delightful! The potatoes accompanied it well, but the ribs were overwhelmed by an excessive amount of sauce that wasn’t very appealing. Additionally, the corn on the cob was overcooked and too soft. Overall, I found the meal to be overpriced considering the quality. It seems they could improve the flavors across their dishes. Would I return? No. The only standout feature was the lovely atmosphere.
I finally tried this restaurant and left feeling disappointed. It wasn't busy at all, yet it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress was rarely around; we only saw her three times in the 90 minutes we were there. The pizza looked fantastic, but unfortunately, it was cold in the middle, with unmelted cheese. As someone who loves a lot of cheese, I found it to be too gooey and not the right consistency—there was no stretch at all when you pulled at it. My boyfriend did enjoy his surf and turf, but overall, I think it was overpriced for what we received. The metropolitan martini was also more sweet than alcoholic.
First the good: -nice atmosphere -good service The bad: I had the Kansas City Strip. It was about a quarter gristle, not soft fat, GRISTLE which was inedible. The meat that was on the plate was tough and chewy. Good only for a jaw workout. This cut of meat didn't even resemble a strip steak, their butcher is not good. I was on a business dinner so I couldn't voice my displeasure but later in the evening all in my party commented on how mediocre the place was. One star, because zero is not an option. You will leave feeling like you wasted alot of money.
My husbands steak was flavorful and smoky. It was cooked to order the first time. French fries were soggy but that could have been from the juices. Baked potato was like you would expect. Coconut shrimp were ok. Coconut was flavorful but shrimp tasted like it had been washed in a cleaner. Bread was good along with the garlic butter. We would go back but wouldn't go out of our way for it. Service was only ok. We had to flag our waiter down twice and waited a long time for refills but he was very courteous and kind about it.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was excellent. I really enjoyed the Ahi appetizer during happy hour; it was delicious. The Prime Rib was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor, and the grilled corn was among the best I've tasted at a restaurant. I highly recommend this place. Considering the price of the Prime Rib, it's a great choice any night of the week.
