Really cool hotel bar very laid back atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and polite and makes you feel really welcomed. The bartenders are cool and willing to make you anything you can come up with. A big plus here is the jukebox which has so much variety and is a hit here. Also last but not least cant forget the food ,they have food from the restaurant next door which is served at the bar. The wings, burgers and the queso fundido is a must.
Well, when you're in town on business and between you and your coworker you have one vegetarian and one low-carb, finding a place to eat in a border town can be difficult, but we luckily stumbled upon the Saddle Spur on our first night. They have vegetarian AND low carb options! Nice atmosphere. Service could vary, but as long as we had wine and good food options, we didn't care. We ended up eating here every, single night.
Hotel bar at the #Gadsden. The bartender Roxxi was attentive and even checked up on us on the terrace (one floor above the bar). Suvh a friendly environment and was obviously a loval favorite to stop by and unwind with a drink. Made multiple trips, drinks are not overpriced. There isnt a static cocktail menu but just ask Roxxi, she'll Rock it for you!
If you find yourself in Douglas, AZ and in need of a beer and some wings, you can't go wrong with the Gadsden Hotel and Saddle Spur Tavern. This is in the Gadsden Hotel. It's close to the original appearance of the bar, with tin ceilings, and original woodwork. The menu may seem unassuming at first, but it is well executed with some great, mexican grandma style cooking. Great service, decent local beer selection.
This local bar is situated on the main floor of the Historical Gadsden Hotel. If you find yourself in Douglas, you must stop by this place to see the beautiful Tiffany glass ceilings. Grab a drink at the Saddle Spur and immerse yourself in the history of this charming town.
