As with other reviews when I walked through the door and smelled the stench we should have walked out. Nearly every room had mice droppings up and down the walls. Not to mention on the stovetop as well. That really should have been fixed when we left but unfortunately, the office was closed already and we weren’t able to talk to anyone. So we were forced to live through the night which brought on an unsettling event where me and my roommate I were accompanied by a very Very large spider in our room. Oh, and the fun has yet to stop. In both the bottom closets of the house there are holes in the floor that are stuffed with towels. In the bottom bedroom, large cracks are running down the corner...
While the Cabin was furnished nicely my room was downstairs in the basement, it was dirty, had dead bugs, spiders which we were warned about and tons of spider webs everywhere, my bed was almost falling apart and it was a twin bed. It looked as if it had not been cleaned in quite a while, staff very friendly and did come up and clean the dead bugs, I just felt it wasnt clean and someone should of cleaned and checked before we checked in as much as it cost to stay. Upstairs was very clean !
We had dinner here twice during our stay. The BBQ sandwiches are huge and heavenly, fall off the bone mouth watering ribs (I ate a whole slab), French fries were the absolute best. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We even got some live entertainment the first night which was super cool. Oh, the local beer on tap and the blood orange are delicious. We definately recommend this restaurant. Here is a pic of my sister.
So glad to have this local bar and grill in our middle ground between Wilkesboro, Lenoir, and Boone. Don 't drive by and think you missed it; it 's in Leatherwood Mountains, but is in the 'welcome center ' for rental cabins and horse riding in the resort. If you find yourself on NC-268, take the short detour. The drive is scenic to say the least. The food is good and there 's often music outside on the weekends.

The menu in the cabin we rented showed a totally different menu than they had in the restaurant the food and place was a dump if you are out for the day I recommend trying maybe Burger King, the food there would be better than the slop they were serving. What a let down, never again NOT A ALMOST 5 STAR RESTAURANT
Awesome food and amazing service! My family and I always make it a point to eat here every time we are in the area.
This is very nice place. Had breakfast and sat outside. After we ate we went to pet the horses at the stables.
Pizza was ok. Thier wings were awful, definitely frozen then cooked. And the atmosphere was subpar.
