Gasthaus SÄntisblick

Mit einer absolut atemberaubenden Aussicht waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt im Santisblick während einer Sommerreise durch Europa sehr zufrieden. Es gelang uns, unseren Besuch zeitlich auf den Schweizer Nationalfeiertag abzustimmen, was bedeutete, dass wir von der Lage auf dem Hügel aus alle örtlichen Feuerwerke sehen und gleichzeitig den hervorragenden Service des Restaurants genießen konnten. Die Aussicht war nicht der einzige Vorteil der Lage, der Bahnhof in der Stadt ermöglichte uns auch eine problemlose Anreise nach Zürich zur Straßenparade. Das Restaurant selbst war sehr gut ausgestattet und bot sowohl drinnen als auch draußen viel Platz, ohne seine gemütliche Atmosphäre zu verlieren....

Ein Besuch in diesem hervorragenden Restaurant ist immer ein besonderer Anlass. Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Berge und die Umgebung bildet die perfekte Kulisse, um draußen auf der Terrasse einen Drink oder eines ihrer fantastischen „Coupés“ zu genießen. Bei unserem letzten Besuch nutzten wir den schönen Abend so lange wir konnten, bevor es zu sehr abkühlte, indem wir das Essen bestellten, während wir auf der Terrasse unseren Aperitif genossen, die Hirsche auf dem umzäunten Feld unten überblickten und hineingingen kurz bevor unsere Mahlzeiten serviert werden. Das Essen ist ein Gourmetgenuss und der Service ist ausgezeichnet und freundlich. Das Gasthaus Säntisblick ist bei Einheimischen...

With absolutely stunning views, we were very pleased with our stay at Santisblick during a summer trip around Europe.We managed to time our visit with the Swiss National Day meaning that, from the hilltop location, we managed to see all the local fireworks while enjoying the excellent service of the restaurant. The view was not the only benefit of the location, the station in the town allowed us to travel easily to Zurich for the street parade.The restaurant itself was very well equipped with plenty of space both inside and outside without losing its cosy feel. The food on every day we were there was faultless and always served with a smile.Would highly recommend!

Coming to this superb restaurant is always a special occasion. The stunning view of the mountains and surrounding area makes for a perfect backdrop to enjoy a drink or one of their fantastic 'coupes' out on the deck. On our last visit we took advantage of the beautiful evening as long as we could before it was cooling down too much, by ordering the meal while we were sipping our aperitif on the deck, overlooking the deer in the enclosed field below, and moving inside just prior our meals being served. The food is a gourmet delight and the service is excellent and friendly. Gasthaus Saentisblick is loved and appreciated by locals and guests alike.

We stayed at the family-run Gasthaus Santisblick during August on a trip around Europe! We were greeted with a spectacular view of the fireworks for Switzerland's national day and the following day travelled by train to Zurich centre for the Street Parade! The location was perfect for site seeing, only a short walk to the train station and a very comfortable and enjoyable stay! The hosts were very warm and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed during the stay! I would greatly recommend the restaurant with such great local food, accommodating staff and lovely views of Eschlikon!

Had a business lunch here, wanted to have it with a nice view to the Alps. This was the perfect place, and were lucky with the weather that allowed us to have a table at the terrace. The food was excellent. I had a surf and turf, what was also a good selection. Effective and friendly service, should come back one day...

We had a delicious dinner (venison with all the trimmings), good wine and a cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and discreet.
