Idk, why this safeway has such a low rating. It is as beautiful or better as any other safeway I've ever been, all checkouts are friendly here, and two of the most important things for me: it has a lot of parking and it's clean! Well sorted products and decent prices too. Although I never buy in a safeway, unless I added my Just 4 U card in the app first. I used to have a smaller scale of extreme couponing back a few years and I still LOVE to see how much I saved on the bottom of my receipt in rewards and only 4 U discounts. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant and feel the need to escalate this issue to upper management. I have been a loyal customer at this location for 15 years and have always brought my dog with me while shopping, as she is well-behaved and stays in the cart. Today, I was rudely informed by an employee named Claudia that dogs are not allowed in the store, especially in the cart where people put their groceries. A star is a route. This is not our local store, but a business near our future home. I went here because of Albertson's reputation in terms of quality products, full milk and cleanliness. The production department was embarrassing to say the least. Veggies all looked like they had to be tortured. I would have thrown them out if they were in my house. The shop as a whole was not well stored and all goods felt old after the product experience. Dairy was as weak as just an option for a quarter of low-fat milk. I have been very happy with the curbside pick up at the Virginia Hills location. Ordering online has been very easy. I have been able to select the times for pick up I have wanted. A big thank you to the employees that have been doing the shopping. They have been doing an excellent job, especially picking out the produce I have ordered. The employees that bring out the groceries, load them in the car. They have always been very prompt, and friendly.

Terrible bakery. Read the ingredients of products from the in-store bakery. What is the purpose of having an in-store bakery if you can’t produce fresh products that do not need artificial ingredients and preservatives. And who invites carrot cake with shrunk coconut? Absolutely. Terrible products that show total disregard for quality and customers.
I am disappointed to see that this Safeway branch has a lax attitude towards mask-wearing. During my visit, I noticed two customers shopping without masks, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The employees did not seem to enforce the policy, so I have decided to take my business elsewhere in the future.
This is the worst run store, doughnuts case is covered in ants, the wait to check out is huge with a bunch of employees standing around, whoever manages this store is horrible. I hate going here and please get a new store manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What is with the low reviews. It's a big safeway. The staff is helpful and friendly. Wide selection and inventory of quality food.
