Ordered for delivery, chicken korma and punjabi chana . Both were yummy and right spice level, rice that came along also was well made and fragrant. Chole or chana tasted very good had added kewra water to it. I had called earlier and they answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Slightly on the pricier side , wished that the quantity was more.
This restaurant is fantastic! Firstly, the food is absolutely delicious! The Chicken Tikka Masala Special is incredibly tasty, and the Spinach Cheese Naan is cooked to perfection. Plus, the prices are very reasonable! Other Indian restaurants in my area are much more expensive and not nearly as good. This place truly offers amazing flavors.
Food was great and our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was on the plainer side and nothing fancy, but we weren’t looking for anything like that, just good food.

the Lamb Vindaloo was delicious. the Chicken Tikka Masala was good, but strangely sweet? everything was neatly packaged AND labeled which was great!
Everything was fresh and served hot, and I was especially pleased to find vegan options! The Dal E Bahar had a wonderful medium spice level.
Saffron is truly an unexpected gem located on Butler Avenue in Ambler. I'm really glad we chose to dine in rather than opting for delivery.
