Fantastic spot! My wife and I were looking for a pleasant night out and were lucky to discover this hidden gem on Rainier. The dining area is cozy, with only a few tables and a counter with stools. The service was minimal but attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We tried the Chicken Xacuti Curry and another curry whose name I can't recall, and both were absolutely delicious. I also ordered a mango lassi, which had a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors. Our food arrived quickly, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommended!

I was eager to try this place since I was craving Indochinese and wanted to avoid going to the Eastside. I ordered the Vegetable Hakka Noodles and Paneer 65. On the plus side, the portions were generous, my order was ready when I arrived for pickup, the service was friendly, and the process was quick (which is great because parking around here is tough). However, the food was a bit too oily, and the paneer was quite tough.
At Saffron Spice on Rainier Ave S, the naan was delightfully fluffy and flavorful, possibly garlic-infused. The appetizer roll had a unique, sharp taste, somewhat reminiscent of a burrito. The paneer tikka masala was rich and full of tomato flavor. The menu offers a great variety to explore.

Excellent Indian cuisine. The biryani is Goan-style, so if you’re looking for that rather than the usual type, it comes highly recommended. The menu is somewhat limited, so I’d suggest checking out the restaurant’s full menu for more variety and authentic options.
Went to food truck. Had vegetarian rice bowl. Waited 25 mins in line. Taste was okay but there was no paneer in Palak paneer. Thats next level of cheating customer. Highly not recommended to visit.

Stumbled in and tried the Vegetarian biryani, which was smashing. Simple, humble facility, very tasty food. The Saag was pretty good, too. I'm keen to try the Indochinese next.
