Everything was very fresh and and the food came out quick. I didn’t have the after effects of MSG that I sometimes have with these places. The spring rolls are wrapped in rice paper so it’s a more gluten-friendly option (not celiac safe) but great for gluten sensitive people like me. The hot and sour soup was really nice and the vermicelli bowl was fresh and tasty. The meat was seasoned well and didn’t have that overly processed texture. I can tell they focus on wholesome ingredients. Would definitely go back.
We dropped in for lunch today at Tillicum Mall's Saigon Char-Broil. I am not familiar with Vietnamese food and that was part of the reason we went there. The atmosphere is quite nice. We ordered a combo chicken with spring rolls and rice noodles. The chicken was very very good. The noodles were tasty but my favourite was the spring rolls. There were excellent. The two of us shared the plate and so that kept the cost very reasonable. We will return.
My family absolutely loved our meal here including the 10 year old. The bbq pork in particular is delicious as recommended by our super kind server thank you! and all 3 of us were loving the big spring rolls that were both crunchy and chewy. We even ordered an extra $6.75 The pho wasn't super complex but it was clean, tasty, and warmed the soul on a particularly chilly night. Entrees rang in around $17 each and were well worth it.

For a tiny little mall stop, this is a great little restaurant. It's really small so if it's busy you might have a wait. The food and prices are great. The service is fast and friendly. I will definitely be back, it's a great spot.

Fantastic food! The spring rolls are no joke, and tossed noodle bowls are definitely worth a try. Best coconut bubble tea I’ve ever had!
