*The sailor boy freehouse* Lovely friendly pub with always lots going on especially weekends and height of season. Kareokes on the green outside are great fun, and they also do evening entertainment inside. Bit dark and old inside, but dont be put off, still a lovely friendly local pub : staff also great espacially as it gets busy. *sailor boy cafe* We love this place! We are a family of 6 regulars that stay on seawick or martello and always spend days and evenings here! We LOVE the food here, often come for breakfast or lunch. Such a super service, quick but fresh cooked food, always piping hot, lovely staff, that do a great job on busy days amongst them all. Slushes and ice creams for kids...
Great place for a cold beer, hot cuppa or a good range of freshly prepared dishes. Very handy location next to the beach and a carpark too. Seems as if they have had a change of staff and attitudes to customers all for the good! The counter areas are covid safe, staff polite and friendly and the chips, although you do seems to get more of the razor sharp crispy bits than most chippy serve up however that rest of the chips are either nice.
We have been living in the village of St. Osyth for seven years and are not far from the Seaman restaurant. We enjoy spending time at the beach there and often have breakfast or a drink or two. It’s wonderful to see families coming from all over Great Britain to enjoy the place. Happy days!
Was in the pub part back in 2019 before covid. Still the same. The fish and chip part fantastic, friendly staff, can have a laugh o and battered Mars bar as well as Creme egg brilliant! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I adore the Sunday roast here. The roast potatoes are perfect, the gravy is rich and flavorful, the vegetables are fresh, and the staff are wonderful and attentive. Highly recommend!
Totally loved it ,old fashioned pack em in pub with light spacious restaurant, only had Sunday dinner so far but it was BANGING going again ,thanks Amanda and crew
