This restaurant review is from several years ago, dating back to 1982, 1983, and 1984. I was a US Marine stationed at the RAF base during that time. After traveling to 23 countries over the course of 8 years, I must admit that this restaurant was one of the best I have ever experienced.
The pub has recently reopened with strict COVID-19 restrictions in place, but it still offers great service. If you're lucky enough to visit on a nice day, you'll have a fantastic experience.
