I usually try to visit a restaurant more than once before writing a review, but my recent dinner experience was so enjoyable that I felt it deserved recognition. Although we don’t eat sushi, we were thrilled with the extensive menu offering a variety of different options. I ordered the beef teriyaki, while my husband opted for the chicken. Each entree came with a side salad and miso soup, which was served before our main dishes. The food was fresh and clearly made in-house. My husband chose a "watermelon smoothie," and based on the photo, we realized it wouldn't be a creamy smoothie but more of an icy slush, which it turned out to be. One the best Sushi restaurants in Waltham. The sushi is SUPER FRESH, the sizes meets expectations, and the staff is wonderful and super nice. They have a wide selection of sushi. They take care of you. I always have the waitress Fen there helping me with my food, she is super generous, super nice, and super friendly. She is my go to person. Their online ordering is also super simple and they give you a discount for to go orders. I go there at least once a week.
Parking is horrible. Dinner was excellent. The magura was so fresh and good that I wish I had gone with an all sushi/sashimi dinner. But I had some excellent fried pork gyoza, and ended with a chicken miso ramen. My ONLY complaint is that the chicken in the ramen was a bit dry. I wish they had a shrimp ramen offering. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stop back for dinner. There is so much I want to try on their menu.
I absolutely adore Sakura Restaurant! It’s my favorite place for sushi, and I always recommend it to friends. My favorite dish is the veggie plate, which features a variety of sushi options. Since I don't eat meat, it’s wonderful to have such high-quality vegetarian selections available. The service is excellent, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

My girl friends and I picked Sakura as my birthday lunch spot and they did not disappoint! We started with the vegetable tempura which was delicious. I also had the white mountain sushi. It was some of the best sushi I've ever had! I can't wait to go back.
I ordered takeout and the sushi rolls were fantastic. We tried the spider maki, the house dragon roll, and the makimono combo 2. They are a little on the expensive side, but the quality is outstanding. I would definitely order from here again!
