My son wanted Sushi for dinner. Almost all of us found were closed. We found one that was open, but if you had no reservation, it would be 2.t hours for the next availability. We found this and had a pretty good rating. We were glad they were open. We ordered the Sakura Sushi role and the Unagi Don and Tuna role. We have a wrong soup as an appetizer. The presentation for the roles was ok. The Sakura reel actually came too large on a large round plate for the role. The Unagi Don was in a square bowl with a screen. The taste was 3-4. Not the best Unagi I had but passed. Our server was very professional and attentive. All servers were polite. I would recommend this place. You had a great choice...
Although busy, almost a whole house, we sat within 4 minutes. Our waitress was apologetic that she was pulled to her other tables, but was amazingly efficient and got our drinks and food to us as soon as it was ready. The food itself was soooo good! The sushi is definitely fresh, tasteful and well made. We couldn't eat anything we ordered. But I was able to recruit the tempura and make it to our breakfast plates... again, tasty! attentive, friendly staff who desire the meals they serve for the needs of the customer. Will definitely recommend others and give me back!
Lunch prices are quite incredibly low for such high-quality sushi and service. The staff were friendly, available, and helpful, and a pleasure of the 6 months old in our party. The restaurant was clean and safe, and the food was very delicious. The fish was high quality and the rolls were ordered before us. I recommend Sakura!
Clean and dim mood lighting. Great place to take dates to. The menu clearly displayed nicely with pictures. Quick service. I ordered Appetizers deep fried tofu, Ahi poke and Miso clam soup. Flavorful and good. They only accept major credit cards or debit ie Visa, or Mastercard. But cash is accepted too.

Underestimated gem! Excellent food, menu options, prices and service. They even cook their beef teriyaki to the perfect attempt you ask (I got medium rare). Also a lot of parking. No long lines. This place is 10/10. Avoid the tourist traps and come here. Trust me.
Excellent sushi and service at Sakura! Even though they don't take reservations, we were seated immediately. I particularly enjoyed the Valentine roll, and the sushi was incredibly fresh overall.
This place is my GO-TO for sushi in Kona. It’s amazing. Love the Kona boat ! I highly recommend eating here. It’s seriously next level AMAZING. Get the lava roll. YUM !
Great sushi and service at Sakura. Although they don't take reservations, we were seated right away. Loved the valentine roll and all of the sushi was super fresh.

Delicious sushi, fantastic sashimi, and I'm a big fan of her bento boxes. There are plenty of options to choose from!
This is an excellent sushi restaurant with fast and friendly service. The miso soup was the best I've ever tasted.
