Having enjoyed Japanese cuisine since 1970, when I worked with a Japanese company named Kenwood Electronics, I was eager to dig in, reminiscing about some of the finest meals I’ve had at traditional Japanese restaurants in New York City with tatami seating.
The miso soup was exceptional, and the Kani salad packed a nice spicy punch, just as the server had suggested. I was truly savoring the flavors; everything was delicious. When my rolls arrived, they were beautifully presented, combining traditional and contemporary Japanese styles.
In summary, it was outstanding! The rolls were firm and full of flavor, with about eight pieces in each roll. I briefly thought about using a fork and knife...
I spent $30 on food through Uber Eats (including free delivery and discounts), but I was left feeling quite disappointed. The rolls were nearly $6 each, and I only received three of each type. Half of my meal was made up of these rolls, while one platter of rice was much larger. Don't expect much when ordering from this restaurant. I tried to call for a refund, but I was directed to contact Uber Eats. Unfortunately, when I reached out to Uber Eats, they told me they couldn’t issue a refund. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again, and I'm even thinking about not using Uber Eats in the future.
I was genuinely impressed by how quickly my food was prepared, and the service was exceptional. The staff made me feel very welcome. I also found the drive-thru option to be very convenient, which greatly improved my overall experience. I ordered the lunch special that came with hibachi shrimp, shumai, and smoked salmon sashimi. I have no complaints at all! Everything tasted fresh and delicious.
I always look forward to dining at this restaurant. The portion sizes are very generous, particularly the sashimi. I often order a side of steak, which is priced very well per pound. Additionally, they have a convenient drive-thru! The service is exceptional, and the overall atmosphere is calming.

I had a fantastic experience with the tekka don and sake don. The fish was outstanding, and the dumplings were full of flavor. The customer service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable given the quality of the food. I highly recommend this place!
I've ordered from Sakura multiple times, and the food is consistently well-prepared and delicious. I really value the convenience of their drive-thru for pick-up. I highly recommend this restaurant!
