I do not understand the high ratings and fuss about this place as it is distinctly average and is downrated to Poor when you consider the price, which if reduced might get it to Average. We thought we may have caught them on a bad day and therefore went back and it was just average dressed up to be something it is not. Don't get me wrong, I am more than happy to pay lots for a great meal and frequently do, but this place is out of balance. It is set in a housing estate with little to recommend it in terms of location and ambiance. We went there on a strong recommendation and were not disappointed... quite the contrary. The place is very pleasant wether you opt for a tapas in the bar area or a meal in the different rooms of the restaurant. The prawns are their specialty and you will understand why when you taste them. Everything was perfect with a good and sympathetic service despite the huge affluence. Reservations recommended.
This place is an absolute gem in the outskirts of Madrid. The food is always good and the restaurant has recently been refurbished. Try the prawns that are flown in fresh from Huelva on a daily basis and the meat is local.
