We went there for dinner tonight and Liz the manager was AMAZING! She was on top of everything and so we're her servers. Our food came out hot and fresh and tasted great! Liz was super busy running the place herself but still was able to maintain a professional attitude and make us feel great! It was a really great experience overall seeming most places today have managers or servers with major attitudes. We will definitely be back and be sure it's on a day Liz is working! We went for lunch and ordered the extra thin crust pizza. Came out perfect. Crust was nice and crunchy and toppings were perfect. Not to many places can get a well done pizza correct but they got it just right. Service was excellent. We have been here before and will certainly be back. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere and great food this place is for you . The nacho fries are great too. Hubby ordered two pizzas, his usual and me a veggie pizza because I wasn't eating meat. Should've ordered from Hodgkins like we usually do.. Wanted a thin crust veggie pizza with no zucchini. Instead got a thick crust, pizza with black olives and green peppers with sausage. The receipt was correct and that was about all that was correct. His order was wrong as well. $40 worth of food that was all wrong. Will not buy from that pizzeria again. Not happy. Food: 1
Every time I come here with my family, we never have a bad experience. Food is always delicious. Service is usually okay. First time here and not half bad. I like the bar set-up. What I really liked was Isabella mighty bella (beautiful in Spanish) who was my lovely server. Hard working and sweet. You're amazing, love. My husband and I stopped at the Salerno's location after picking up some bakery at Kirschbaums! I grew up eating pizza from the Berwyn location(which moved to Oak Park). Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We ordered the largest pizza, so we could have leftovers too! Was delicious, as all Salerno's pizza! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
Ordered pizza and received a completely wrong pizza with hot peppers which I’m allergic to. Called to complain and was told the manager will get back to me. Threw pizza away and after one hour called again requesting a refund. One hour later still have not heard from manager Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
They don't advertise being closed on Tuesday like other Salernos. We drove over 30 minutes to find that information out. Completely unprofessional!
