we have ever experienced the service. we went up and the guy literally took 10 minutes before he looked back to take our order, and that was because I said sorry. we ordered 2 açaí dishes with paçoca and waited for over 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I asked him if they were almost finished and it took at least 5 minutes to put them on the counter. but while I was waiting, I saw that some people walked in and out, who spoke Portuguese. seems if they don't speak Portuguese to them they are not really service!
I’m not one to ever post reviews like this, but that was quite possibly the worst acai bowl I have ever had. Never knew peanut butter could taste so bad. Service was okay, the front desk was nice enough on the phone. I’m sure there’s other good stuff on the menu, but do not get the acai bowl. Paid extra for Nutella too and there was none to be found. I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while, but I hesitated because I wasn't sure about some of the menu items. Today, I finally made the decision to go, and I'm so glad I did! The food here is excellent, but unfortunately, the staff leaves a lot to be desired. The service was quite poor, which really affected the overall experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the terrible service stands out the most. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the atmosphere a 4, but sadly, the service only deserves a 1.
Attention all Açaí lovers! You won’t find a better Açaí bowl than at Salgabom. I've tried Açaí at countless places, but nothing compares to what they offer. It may be a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. They top their Açaí with a layer of cupuaçu, which elevates the experience to a whole new level.
The açaí bowls here are absolutely fantastic! They offer several size options, which is perfect for whatever your appetite might be. There are so many toppings to choose from as well. These are by far the best açaí bowls I've ever tasted!
