Sorry to give a 2* rating but I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips at lunchtime just before closing. The chicken looked dry and overdone and it had possibly been in the hot cupboard for some time. The taste confirmed this very disappointed especially when it is £5 for 2 pieces! I wanted to keep it local but sadly the quality just let you down . The best fish and chip shop in the local area. Genuinely just had the best gluten free haddock and chips in my entire life. Could not recommend highly enough. Enjoy my fish and chips last night with some amazing hand made tartare sauce. The tartare sauce was the highlight of my evening it really lifted the dish with a amazing natural salty finish. They must have a secret ingredient they're not telling us about. Food: 5 Service: 5
