I’m quite particular when it comes to fish and chips, and I decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. It definitely lived up to the hype! I opted for the extra-large cod and chips, but the regular-sized portions also looked nice and thick. The only downside was that we didn’t receive the complimentary drinks that were supposed to come with the kids' meals, but we didn’t notice until the end of our visit.
I'm not a lover of fish chips but I would definitely recommend this place. Food was really good, NOT greasy, fish was succulent even the meat fritter was good. Restaurant is done really nice and they even offer takeaway nextdoor, can't go wrong.
Easy to find, fab portion sizes, tasty haddock and chips wonderful views to enjoy whilst having a good scoff. One small thing…staff could smile, yes I appreciate it’s been a difficult few years but they have lots to be proud of! Good job.

Lovely to find fish and chips that is cooked in beef dripping, always good quality, with nice crisp batter and fish that is perfectly fried, and not soggy and swimming in oil like so many of the other local establishments.
The fish and chips, along with the minted mushy peas, were absolutely fantastic! Great job all around! The staff were efficient, and the service had a relaxed vibe. Everything was freshly cooked to order. Thank you!
