first time at sals recently. seemed pretty busy which is always a good sign. employees were nice and welcoming. decided to try a plain pie, garlic knots and a meatball parm sub. pizza was great in all aspects and reheated really well too. good flavors and a good bite, I'd definitely recommend it. the knots were great too, very garlicky and not at all greasy. they too reheated really well. so the meatball sub. turns out I came home with a chicken parm sub. not the end of the world, obviously. tasted pretty good, it was covered in a ton of mozz so A+ for that. just gonna have to try again for the meatball sub next time.
Loved this pizzeria!! I was recommended by a friend from the gym to try this place and the service plus friendliness from the staff was fanstatic! I didn’t what I was going into from getting the pizza but it hits close to home from my time spent in NYC for the last 2 years. It’s very authentic to a NY slice and I’m honestly more than happy to find a local pizzeria that serves this kind of pizza. The only minor compliant I would say is the lack of salt for flavor, besides that it’s overall a delicious pie! I would 100% come back here again, as well recommend it to my friends!
Requested one thing got another. Spoke to the son and hung up on me. Call back three times the fast talking girl hung up on me three times. Fed the dog with the dinner they choose to send. Lousy no good for nothing SOBs. What a shame!
Have been eating at Sals for many years. Always fresh, good tasting Italian food. A very established beautiful family business in the area For a very longtime. You won’t be disappointed.
Got the white pizza and a Buffalo chicken pizza and sad to say the pizza was not that good and the Buffalo pizza did not look good at all and price was not that cheap at all
Sal is always there, the place has a Brooklyn pizzeria feel. Not sure where they get the water for the dough, because pizza is good, crust is NY style.
This is literally the best pizzeria in the area. Best prices, quick time, all that. If you're going to the other places in the area you're missing out.
The food was great, But for good food you need to wait., I recommend you to come here if you are in the area..
