One aspect that really impressed us about Salt Cafe Bar was the reasonable pricing. Given the quality of both the food and service, the prices felt very fair. We truly felt we received excellent value for our money, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.

I don't often give five-star ratings to restaurants, but the service and food at Salt made it an effortless decision. The staff was attentive and welcoming, promptly greeting us and leading us to our table. Our lunch for two was a pleasure, all at reasonable prices. The King Prawn salad was exceptional, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Our meals arrived quickly, were fresh, and bursting with unforgettable flavors. The cappuccino we enjoyed afterward was rich and delicious, adding to an already impressive experience. I definitely plan to visit again as often as I can.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Salt Cafe, and the atmosphere was wonderful. This review could easily apply to many great cafes throughout the Gold Coast. However, what truly distinguished our experience was the exceptional service from the waitress who attended our table. She was professional yet friendly, engaging, and incredibly attentive to our needs. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I've had in a small cafe. I hope I'm not putting too much pressure on the other staff!
I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience here because it was truly deserving! The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was delightful, and the menu had something for everyone. They offer all-day breakfast and a fantastic selection for lunch, including options for kids. I was particularly impressed that they offered to remove the crust from my child's toast! The garden area is lovely, and there’s plenty of parking available. Overall, an amazing visit!

However, the new hot chocolate arrived in a mug with a large crack under the handle, a perfect spot for bacteria to thrive. I chose not to drink it at all. I showed the staff again, and they informed me that I wouldn't be charged for the drink. Unfortunately, the food was also subpar. The Turkish bread was tough and didn't taste fresh. Based on this experience, we will definitely not be returning.
We enjoyed a lovely late lunch at this café. After finishing our meal, we expressed our gratitude to the staff for the nice experience. I also offered some gentle feedback about the wilted lettuce that accompanied my dish. While it didn't ruin my meal, it certainly shouldn't have been served. Unfortunately, my feedback didn't receive a verbal acknowledgment—just a slight nod from the server.
The food was decent, but the service was absolutely terrible. We ordered drinks and ended up waiting an entire hour for a Coke and a milkshake. When I inquired about the delay, the waitress was surprisingly rude. When she finally brought our drinks, she slammed them on the table. The service was so bad that I won’t be coming back. Thankfully, she didn't have a name tag.
The food and drinks were outstanding! However, I hope they consider taking down the large umbrella outside, as I accidentally got hit by it. I'm okay—it's nobody's fault, just the strong winds that day. 05/02/2022.

Excellent food with a wide variety of options! This restaurant serves breakfast and lunch all day long. The flavors are fantastic, and the small sides perfectly complement each dish.
We had good breakfast at Salt Cafe. Nice environment, friendly staffs and good food. Location is very convenient in the Brickworks shopping complex. Happy to come back.
