I almost never write reviews, but after recently discovering this place, I really need to mention it as the absolute best on the Coast. Having lived in Italy for thirty-five years and in Australia for the next twenty, I can honestly say that the pizza at Salt Meats Cheese ranks in my top 3. The extended menu has great variety, and themed nights complement their offering. To top all that, you will find a nice atmosphere, plenty of friendly and efficient staff, and special mention to Alessandro, who is a real stand-out. Seriously, 5 stars are probably an understatement.

This restaurant serves the best pasta we have ever had. My partner and I came here for our engagement dinner and were truly impressed by the amazing pasta dishes. I finally got to try a flaming cheese wheel, a lifelong dream of mine, and the customer service was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone visiting the Gold Coast.

Nice and friendly staffs. They brought wrong food at our table, but all sorted. We ordered Crispy Proscuitto Salad, my favorite for the night! Boyfriend craving for pizza, so he went with Portuguese Pizza, the one with prawns, zucchinis and chorizo. Yum! We finished with Tiramisu, been a long time since I ate a good one :
Last night with my partner there we were very good. friendly and friendly staff, always smiling and polite. the food was tasty, we had the pesto linguine and truffle gnocchi and we liked that they have several vegetarian options. will be definitiw back
Pizza was great, got the proscuitto as recommended! But the spaghetti meatball was a little dry. Service was good, would go back again for the pizza, and not so much the pasta. Also, they have parking just around the back if you are driving there.

We decided to take advantage of their Monday night special - $25 per person with the purchase of any drink allows you to enjoy as many pizzas as you like. We can't wait to try their Cheese Wheel Pasta Wednesday next!
This is a fantastic Italian restaurant serving authentic, delicious food! The carbonara made with egg and no cream is a true sign of its authenticity. You won't want to miss this dish!
