Without a doubt, Saltchuck serves the best pies in the city. Their assortment of sweet and savory pies have won awards and my personal favorites include the Thai Green Curry, Beef Bacon, Banana Cream Pie, and Cherry Blueberry. The owner is not only passionate about his products, but also cares deeply about his community and customers. I hope Saltchuck remains a beloved fixture in our community for years to come. I even travel from the Westshore just to indulge in their pies! I was pleasantly surprised to find their pies on the menu at a local winery. If you haven't tried Saltchuck pies yet, I highly recommend you do so.
These pies are perfect. Like. Could not be better. There cannot be improvement on them. Perfection. I want all of the pies all of my days all of my life. Take all of my money. Also the butter tart is out of this world. This may sound like a fake review,or a review from a friend of the owner? but I do not know the owner or the baker at all. I just think. That these pies areAMAZING.
Everything looks and tastes delicious, and I don't even normally like meat pies! Every pie, salad, dessert, and drink is creative and appetizing, it's cute inside and customer service is great. Prices are fair, too $8 for a meat pie big enough for lunch! . I really can't recommend this place enough :
I really enjoyed this restaurant. It's often difficult to find a good Australian-style pie, but this place offers some really fun and unique flavors. Amazing variety of both savory and sweet pies. Popped in to grab some chicken pot pie and came out with those and an apple crumble. Great little place to stop and have a coffee and a treat. Prices are pretty good considering the sizes of thepies. Very quant little place with friendly staff.
We got the lamb with potato top, butter chicken, and farmers sausage and egg. All three really hit the spot, and made us feel very homesick. If you are looking for an amazing nz style pie come here, but be prepared to spend good money for it!
This restaurant is fantastic. They serve delicious savory and sweet pies that are fresh and hot out of the kitchen. The prices are reasonable, and we bought a variety of pies to enjoy later. You can also dine in at the restaurant.
