Perception is reality. Our party of four arrived at 1:40 PM, but we didn’t receive our food until 2:40 PM, after I asked another server to check on our order. A larger party of eight to ten had arrived about 30 minutes after us, yet they were served before us. After requesting the bill, we waited an additional 30 minutes for our server to return. When she finally did come back, she had already taken care of the larger group and was bringing them their receipt. I tried to discuss the situation with the manager, Kenny, but he dismissed my concerns by suggesting that the timing depended on what was ordered, showing a lack of empathy for our experience of waiting over an hour for our food. Perception is reality. We'll have a party of 4. We got our food at 14:40 after I asked another server to check the food. An 8 or 10 top party came to us about 30 minutes. They got their food before us. After asking for the ticket, we wait 30 minutes until the server returns. When she returned to the area, she had already paid the great party and received it. When I wanted to talk to the manager Kenny, he insulted my intelligence by saying that it depends on what was ordered. The food and service were outstanding. I ordered the steak and shrimp, and the steak was cooked exactly to my preference (I often have issues with other steakhouses getting my medium steak right!). The shrimp was fresh, not frozen. My husband had the grilled pork chops, which were also cooked perfectly and tasted great. While it is a bit more expensive than some other steakhouses, the quality definitely made it worth it.
At the first visit of this place, my wife ordered the Ribeye Steak medium and I ordered the ribs. After waiting for 20 minutes, the waiter comes out and tells me that she forgot to put in my order for the ribs, and it will be another 15 minutes, but the steak of your wife is ready. Steaks were amazing! And if it was even possible the cheesecake and chocolate cake were even better! Excellent service as well! Kayla was our server and did an outstanding job! Even the kitchen manager Mike came out to give us advice on the best desserts to try...and he was 100% right! If we are ever in town again we will be back!
Great food. One had steak, one salmon. I don't remember what 2 of us are as I was involved in my dinner. Soup was great. Appetizers were actually good and brought before the main courses. The service was superb. Our waitress was very friendly. She checked on us frequently. We could not have had a better experience!
Saturday night and sitting at the bar. The Long Island Tea was good but a bit heavy on the sweet and sour. The customer service was good especially for bar service and accommodating dinners. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone having a good time. I would recommend a dinner at least once.
This is the best place in Sherwood to eat! The decor is wonderful, and the staff is fantastic. Their carrot cake is the best in the world!
