I absolutely loved this place. I arrived at just the right time, because 5 minutes later there were people waiting outside to get a table. I had read a review about their 3-bite shrimp, and let me tell you, they were not kidding. The fried shrimp were huge and delicious. I also tried the fried green tomatoes, which were fantastic even though I don't usually like tomatoes. The portions were generous and I definitely overate. And to top it off, they had a taste of home (Baltimore) right on the table - a big container of Old Bay seasoning. I would definitely come back if I am ever traveling this way again.
I love this place! They?re known for their Shrimp Cheese Grits w/ andouille sausage peppers, onions and just goodness! The best I?ve ever had! My Husband had the Blackened Scallops, they were big and juicy cooked just right. For the appetizer we had Gator tail with remoulade sauce. Again! Best Gator tail I?ve ever had! I?m from Florida my uncle was a game warden ? I?ve had plenty of it ?
I am very cautious about where I eat due to my celiac disease. Salty Papas Shrimp House did not disappoint! They had a gluten-free menu available and our server was very knowledgeable about what I could safely eat. I ordered the delicious bacon-wrapped shrimp, french fries, and mud puppy dessert. I discovered this restaurant on the Find Me Gluten Free app and will definitely be back!
Wonderful meals at reasonable prices! I love the shrimp and grits. It?s very filling and has the perfect amount of spice. I eat gluten-free and there are many options available. The server recommended the Cheesy Grits and Shrimp and the Jambalaya. We decided to try both dishes and they did not disappoint. The portions were generous and the southern comfort food was delicious. The service and food were excellent, making this restaurant experience perfect.
The absolute best seafood in SW FL. I have grown up in Fort Myers, Fl and I?m pretty picky about my seafood. I highly recommend the peel and eat shrimp with the sunset butter, the scallops, the shrimp and grits, the beach bread and even the wings are amazing!
Absolutely fantastic. The Nawlins sauce on my fish was out of this world. My Wife had the Jumbalaya. She found it to be incredibly flavorful and hearty. We highly recommend. Our waitress Amy was amazing as well. She made us feel at home.

The fresh oysters were delicious, as were the shrimp with the orange honey and chili pepper glaze. The hush puppies had a nice crunch to them. This restaurant is a lovely casual spot with excellent food and service.
